Sharing The World of Archery
and Bowhunting

Sports for a Lifetime
My first article about my association with scouting as a teacher and mentor.

Bob earned the rank of Eagle Scout with bronze palm and was inducted into the Order of Arrow as a young boy.

Archery and bowhunting have led me on some exciting and memorable travels, both here and abroad. Through these sports I have met some dear and wonderful friends, some of whom I speak with regularly, and some who I  hear from only occassionally. Through my archery-related activities, I have also had the opportunity to meet a number of new friends who are in various stages of learning, teaching and sharing this sport of ours. I offer this site to all of my friends, both younger and older, as a way of sharing my love of archery with you. For my younger friends, I hope that the information offered here might help to kindle in you the passion for this age-old sport and the mystical flight of the arrow that I have come to enjoy so much. For my older friends, I hope this will serve as a way for us to share ideas and photos, and stay in contact more readily. Here's hoping that all your arrows fly true.

Photos of a number of Scout visits. Now that Girl Scouts have arrived, I guess I'll have to change the title of this page. What do you think?
Enjoy a photographic tour of my wildlife room. I've collected animals from around the world.
An article by Craig Lanzoni, Cubmaster of Pack 23 in Greenwich. This is the story of his cubs' first visit to my wildlife room.

Please sign my guest book. You can also see some of the others who have visited before you.
Here are some other sites which you might find of interest. They are a combination of archery and hunting sites. If you come across one which we should add, please let me know.
Photos of my most recent trip to Africa. I went there, specifically, to harvest a particularly troublesome lion. He'll soon be joining us in the wildlife room.
Along with the Genesis quote below, I've collected a few of my favorites. Do you have some that relate to archery or hunting? Please send them along. I'd love to read them.
Without hunting mankind would have perished about 90 days after being tossed out of the Garden. Yet, hunting is all about the chase, and there are right (and wrong) ways to do it.
Dr. Dave Samuel has been a personal friend for many years. As a Professor of Wildlife Management, he "walks his talk" as they say.
From time to time I add to my collection. For those of you who haven't been here for a while, I showcase my newest additions here.

Not much happens in the world of man and animal that someone doesn't find interesting enough to write about. Here are a few samples...
